» impact accuracy of military rockets
I am interested in a list of selected websites, unclassified documents or books, that discuss rocket accuracies. I mean military, ground-to-ground rockets of all types, and imean impact- (hit, flight-) accuracies (errors, bias, dispersion). Of interest are only sources that specify figures (numbers). Also of interest are general reviews in the subject (e.g on error factors) and methodological discussions (e.g. how to measure rocket accuracies). The answer (list) is expected to be sorted/screened according to some comprehensive logic....... - 2009-07-04
» SRH do you use it when choosing targets?
So I am adding to my forecasting tools and researching SRH and tornado formation. I am curious if anyone who actively chases storms takes a look at SRH ? This paper highlights the significance. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/grr/science/19800513/09.php This paper does as well, it also adds LCL and the usual suspects into the mix. What I found here that I was not in the habit of checking was EHI. Curious if anyone looks at EHI in the skew-t when they are forecasting ? That becomes you as soon as you start hacking. The community is generally against Hacking. You will find that in games, your own team mates will fire upon you (given FF is off), and you will be likely kicked and banned from worth while servers.Theres none for consoles because they are ever so slightly harder to hack. I'm pretty much decided now on the lenses i'm going to buy as i've done extensive research on them and price-to-performance-wise they seem to be the best about to cover those focal ranges. » Does anyone know a good wireless sound transmitter?
It needs to be via RCA wires (red and white cords).... Also, is there such thing as an RCA splitter? So I can have the source wires (1 red,1 yellow,1 white) and have that split into 2 reds, 2 yellows, and 2 whites. For broadcast or cd-quality audio, use a 460-470mhz or 900mhz audio transmitter/receiver. The same type of technology is used for wireless microphones at concerts, or to transmit sound to remote amplifiers at large outdoor venues. You can use three RCA "Y" adapters, one for each of left/right/video. They usually have two female (for rca cables) and one male connector (to plug into a device). You could also get Y cables which have two male ends and a female "piggyback" jack on one of the male connectors. You don't ...... - 2009-07-04

They may not be able to communicate with us, but that does not mean we should treat any different.I think we should,at least morally speaking. But juridically,a teacher of mine said animals have no rights because they have no obligations either. But since we don't only follow our minds and have feelings too,we tend to think we should respect them. And I agree.yeah why not? its not there fault they can't talk or do something that will outs...... - 2009-07-04
» Question about GATORADE!?
If you don't want to read below, please tell me how many 600 mL bottles of Gatorade a day I can have without causing noticable water retention and high blood pressure? Iâ ™m not concerned about the caloric content of Gatorade as it contains 150 calories for every 600mL, my daily energy expenditure allows me to have several bottles, so Iâ ™d like to steer clear of that. My concern is the other two ingredients of Gatorade, monopotassium phosphate and sodium chloride. An AU formulation of 600mL Gatorade has 282 mg of sodium. I looked at a packet of Turkey Breast I had yesterday which has 1.8 g of Sodium. Six to seven bottles of Gatorade would be needed to equal that portion, which leads me to believe that it doesnâ ™t make much of ...... - 2009-07-04
» Let's talk about printers...
Who here prints their photos at home? I haven't owned a printer in many years -- the cost of ink and the low quality turned me off, and I've been printing my photos at photo labs ever since. But I'm sure the printers have improved, and obviously it is more convenient to do it at home. I'd be interested in printing large sizes (12x14 or even larger). What are the real costs (paper, ink, etc)? Is it cost effective to buy a printer and do it yourself? How does the quality compare to the one hour photo labs? Please post your experiences! For the amount of pics that I print, I use a local lab and save the printer to print out letters and forms and invoices. Ink is still hellaciously expensive (more so if you use higher quality ink that w...... - 2009-07-04

I'm excited. :) Anyone else purchased recently?Wow, awesome...good luck with everything.. well I wouldn’t know if you would consider this recently, my husband and I just purchased a house a year ago. best thing we ever did, its nice to know that the payments your making are going toward owning it. » Embarrasing breast problem?
I am 19 years of age and am becoming increasingly embarrased about my breasts. They are of average size, but the nipples aren't in the centre. On each breast the nipple is positioned towards the outside, sort of make then point outwards. (to the very left and very right) It has never bothered me that much, and it is not noticable when I am fully clothed, however it is affecting my confidence when being intimate with my partner. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is unusual in women? What couuld be the cause? thank you in advance not everyone's breasts look the same im sure ur partner doesnt mind and loves u the way u are. its probably just the way they devoloped breasts can still grow into ur 20s so maybe th...... - 2009-07-04

Can I upload the VB files in their own directory under the same parent folder where my working IPB files are located in? And what if I install VB from that same area, would IPB still work? How could I test VB without removing IPB? would I just use www.blahblah.com/forum/VB (http://www.blahblah.com/forum/VB) for the VB site? And drop the VB from the URL to access the IPB site? Thanks, Dom PS I just purchased but cannot post in some areas?Yes you could do it that way. This is my first post, though I have been lurking on here as a guest for a few months. Little about me....brand new to photography and photoshop. Picked up my first DSLR a nikon D40 w/ kit lens on Friday after humming and hawwing for a few months over what I should get. First real camera. Just getting into photography. This weekend was my first crack using photoshop as well. Got a full suite of CS3 including lightroom, bridge and photoshop i've borrowed from a friend. Also downloaded the trial of photomatix. Taken about 300 shots in 3 days learning all the new settings. Also worked through 5 chapters of a CS3 tutorial video package that shows how to use the suite properly to edit photos. Have you ever heard of it? http://alienufoparanormal.aliencasebook....It's published daily on the net, just put it in your favorites and check it daily.I think you misunderstand. There are thousands of telescopes around - some look at the visible wavelengths, others infra-red, others radio frequencies. Just because a radio telescope picks up signals does not mean that some aliens are using a radio, just as a normal telescope picking up blue light does not mean some aliens are transmitting blue. . » Is using the expression "Lord" taking God's name in vain?
Ya know...like you hear in a lot of country music.if they're talking to God, like "lord, what have i done wrong?" then no. If they're using God's name like "dang it" or a replacement word for a negative expression, tthen yesSome people like to focus on the swearing aspect of it, but when you look at the actual definition of the word 'vain', it has more to do with using God's name in useless chatter. So, actually, I would tend to agree that saying something such as, "Lord, it's hot out today" would be considered using His name in vain. However, I wold not consider something such as, "Why don't you use the brains the good Lord gave you?" to be of the same ilk. Just my own 2 cents on the matte...... - 2009-07-04
» HHS Pandemic Influenza Implementation Plan
Although a novel influenza virus could emerge anywhere in the world at any time, scientists are particularly concerned about the avian influenza A/(H5N1) that is currently circulating in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Outbreaks of H5N1 have occurred among poultry in Asia since 1997. H5N1 viruses are endemic among birds in Southeast Asia and are spreading to Europe and Africa via the transport of infected poultry and the migration of wild birds, the natural reservoir of avian influenza viruses. As of July 2006, H5N1 outbreaks have been reported in more than 54 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Continued spread is likely. Human H5N1 cases have been reported. The reported death rate for human cases has been be...... - 2009-07-04

i was driving with an "open container of alcohol" (it was in the back with the lid on, but still considered open). i wasn't drinking but i got pulled over and given a ticket. my record is completely clean, this is my first time offense. can i double the fine and get it off my insurance? It depends on your state. Call your DMV and see how many, if any points go on your driving record. If possible go to traffic school. That depends on the company; since it's not a "moving" violation, I'd guess not. However, the company might flag your account for closer attention in the future....... - 2009-07-04
» What is your biggest phobia?
Me - Lizard..!!Mine is probably the dumbest phobia and should get some laughs, but I'm afraid of being attacked in the shower. The phobia is bad enough that I have to have a clear shower curtain so I can see there is no one in the shower (before I get in) and no one outside (once I'm in). However, there is a logical explanation for my fear (though I can't seem to make it stop). When I was very small my dad used to hide in the shower and would jump out and scare me when I came into the bathroom. I was young enough that I had forgotten about it until I turned 13 or 14. Then suddenly one day I started freaking out about the dark shower curtain being closed. My mom would get irritated that I constantly "forgot" to close t...... - 2009-07-04

» Why is Porn not banned on the Internet?
People are getting addicted to it and kids are also getting exposed to all types of dirty contents -- who is responsible for that?It can't be banned. First amendment protects the freedom to publish and produce this since it is a form of press. I think kids being exposed comes down to poor parenting skills. All websites post the laws to cover their own butts and if parents don't have blocks, monitors and checks to make sure their 13 year old son isn't getting around those warnings then it isn't the production company's' fault. Not one person or party of people is responsible for the growing number of porn addictions and early on exposed children. » What is trigonomatry used for?
more specifically cotangent? i need to know how it is used in lifetortureThe cotangent of an angle is simply the reciprocal of the tangent, ie: Cot(A) = 1/tan(A) So the uses of cotangent are pretty much as for tangent, sometimes it may be more convenient to have the ratio one way up, sometimes the other, it doesn't really make much difference though. Cotangent (and tangent) can be used, for example, to measure the height of an object that cannot easily be measured directly, like a building. Stand a known distance x from the base of the object, use a clinometer (easy to make from a protractor) to measure the angle A you have to raise your eyes by from the horizontal to look at the top of the object, then the height of the obj...... - 2009-07-04

If either of those is bad then fuel won't be able to get to the engine. Since it's cranking fine, there's nothing wrong with the electrical system or starter, so it's a very good chance that you just have a problem with the fuel pump or filter.do you have vortex motor or not also can u hear fuel pump run are the fuse that runs enjector good is gas good possible ignition module badhave somone turn your ign to the run position and and with the gas cap off listen for a humming or "pumping" sound fro...... - 2009-07-04
» Why do some men hate to express their feelings? Do they not know how liberating it is to express your emotions?
Why do they suppress their emotionsBlame society and their mothers. More often than not, they are expected to, "man up," and not be expressive on an emotional level. The thing is that, being more do-ers than feel-ers, men would rather take a more direct approach to problem solving. Quite commonly this is a fist in the nose, or into the wall...like that. It isn't that men don't feel things, or that they don't express them, rather that they all tend to morph into something that can be expressed in a physical fashion, whereas women would rather just feel, and talk about it to just about anyone who will listen. Personally, I like them the way they are, and feel no need for them to be anything like me beyond human. For me, ...... - 2009-07-04

ISO: A file that is created from an image of a CD. You can make an iso yourself with a program such as Adaptec Easy CD Creator, or you can burn an ISO file to a CD-R to create a copy of a CD. Bin/cue files: These are also used to create an image of a CD. Most people burn these with CdrWin or Fireburner. The .bin file contains all the data for the cd, the .cue file is just a small file in text format telling the software exactly how to burn the data onto the CD. MP3: Don't know what these are? The same type of technology is used for wireless microphones at concerts, or to transmit sound to remote amplifiers at large outdoor venues. You can use three RCA "Y" adapters, one for each of left/right/video. They usually have two female (for rca cables) and one male connector (to plug into a device). » Rain delays recession of floodwaters
Tue. August 14, 2007 Rain delays recession of floodwaters Star Report http://www.thedailystar.net/2007/08/14/d7081401033.htm Due to intermittent rain caused by the depression over West Bengal, India, recession of floodwaters in the central and south-central districts of Bangladesh is likely to be delayed. As the well marked low pressure of the Bay intensified into a land depression over the West Bengal and adjoining areas of Bangladesh, the improvement of flood situation in Dhaka city may experience a brief halt, according to Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC). FFWC Chief Engineer Saiful Hossain told The Daily Star yesterday, "The rainfall is likely to delay the recession of floodwater but still it is a welcome rain in Ra...... - 2009-07-04

Total size (revenue) of the book publishing industry 4. Major Indian publishers --# of books each major publisher (I define major as probably top 3-5, anyone that has more than 10% share of the market) has in their catalog --# of books publisher publishes per year --Revenue per year --Share of market (in books published and revenue) 5. » My boyfriend is moving to Kansas. What is it like? Do they have accents?
I would like to know some info on Kansas. I would especially like to know if they have accents. I would also like to know what the people are like.Kansas is flat in a lot of places but in others it is also very pretty in other places. Tornadoes do hit, but a lot of the time they only hit open fields, not towns, but when they do hit towns sometimes it can be nasty like Greensburg and the Andover tornado. But that is rare. Yes there is an accent, just like in any other state. It is a southern accent. Most of the people are very nice. In some of the smaller towns, everyone knows eachother and they will often do a lot for eachother also. I like it a lot. But if you come from bigger towns then it might take a little while to get used to...... - 2009-07-04

This should be an easy one for you guys. I haven't doen this in so long I forget how its done... I would have thought it was: trace(myArray.length); But thats not the solution. Any ideas? » How Do You Quench The Uncontrollable Fires Of The Credit Card Money Conflagration?
So, I've spent the whole year of 2008 up to now paying off debt and gaining control over finances, including finding ways to save money on all my bills, creating a reasonable budget for everything and everyone, coming up with creative methods that allow that budget to be followed through without too many people getting pissed off and gaining ways to monitor financial transactions close enough to accomplish everything. HOWEVER, there is one problem to date: the credit card. We only use one credit card and I've managed to keep it in check (the balance down to $0 every period end date) for the past couple of months, but it always seems like the most painful. It rises almost uncontrollably with multiples of small payments, which forc...... - 2009-07-04
» nice pic
I have a pic here and I've been wondering from which serie the pic is coming... Can someone tell me please?????The guy in the foreground with purple hair is Legato, and the guy laughing in the back should be Knives. They are both from the anime "Trigun". You can get more information on the series from this webpage (http://www.ex.org/3.4/25-anime_trigun.html), and additional pics here (http://www.geocities.com/donutneko/wallpaper.html).That "Trigun" is often shown on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It's pretty cool! They're now showing "Lupin 3rd" & that is just as cool, for a classic Anime from the 80's! I'm into most of them. I recognized Lupin's voice as that of the same that performed "Bat" from the violent Anime "Hokuto no Ken" or ...... - 2009-07-04

Hi, I am trying to improve night photogrsphy and with the storm season on its way I would really like to get a hold on it with the new camera I bought a few months ago. This is the first shot I tried last night with a storm and it looks soft. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to settings for the 40D, what program, aperture and ISO are best for night photography? For this shot, the camera was set AV program, ISO-800 F/16, 30sec exposure, metering mode pattern. Something tells me they are not the right settings, or program. I have not used TV before but somehow think this is what I should be using. Here is the shot from last night. Many thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated. » Delete pages without word
Hi! I'm really not lucky. I am finishing writing my Ph. D. thesis on musicology and I used to make a backup of the word file every week. Obviously, the week I didn't do it, my doc file got corrupted. It's really a big file, 540Mb with some 1100 pages. Word says that a table is corrupted and offers to choose the open and repair option. I doesn't work at all. I've tried to save as html for importing it again, but Word crashes. Same problem saving to RTF. I opened the file with OpenOffice and if does the importing, but it can't save the file, I think that because of the huge file size. » Should we treat animals with as much compassion as other humans?
Well, yes because animals also have feelings. My view is that I that I should treat all humans and animals with compassion, but give priority to humans.Yes we should. They were here long before we showed up. They are living and breathing just like us and they can feel pain and love, just like us. They may not be able to communicate with us, but that does not mean we should treat any different.I think we should,at least morally speaking. But juridically,a teacher of mine said animals have no rights because they have no obligations either. But since we don't only follow our minds and have feelings too,we tend to think we should respect them.
